What's New?

Library News:  The Library Staff was busy with inventory over the summer.  Many

outdated books and books that were in bad shape were taken off the shelves, as well as

videos.  Those oudated resources have been taken to Love Packages,

(www.lovepackages.org), which is a "ministry aimed at putting Christian literature and

bibles into the hands of people around the world."  There is new labeling on the shelves,

which will help you find the materials that interest you.  The card catalog can also help

you find materials.  The Library Staff realizes that card catalogs are oudated, but the

staff agrees that we will not be automated at this time.

What am I reading?    I am reading Chris Fabry's newest work of fiction - Not in

the Heart.  This book grapples with tough issues in a family with tough choices to make,

some of the choices devastating.  Truman Wiley, a journalist, loses his job, which sends

him into a downward spiral of gambling addiction, estrangement from his family, and

other major problems - the main one being his son's need for a heart transplant.  Then

he is given "the chance to write the story of a death row inmate willing to donate his

heart to Truman's son."  I am half way through the book.  Go to Chris's site to watch a

trailer of his new book.  www.chrisfabry.com
